Chamomile Lemongrass Mint Facial Steam

Herbal facial steams are amazing for the skin and a wonderful way to relax after a busy week. The steam helps to dislodge clogged pores and stimulates circulation.

Here is a skin purifying and soothing herbal facial steam recipe.

All you need is :-
1 medium size heatproof bowl
Hot boiling water
A clean hand towel
1 teaspoon chamomile flowers
1/2 teaspoon of mint
1/2 teaspoon of lemongrass

To begin, tie your hair back and cleanse your face. Place the chamomile flowers, mint and lemongrass in the bowl and fill it up with hot boiling water.

Place the towel over your head and steep your face in the steam for 3 -5 mins*. Take deep breathes. Be aware not to get too close to the hot water! Finish with a splash of cold water or the facial spritzer to close your pores.

For a complete facial, mix 2 teaspoons of ginger clay mask with a teaspoon of the facial spritzer into a paste.

Spread it over face, avoiding eye areas, and wash off after 15 mins. Follow up with the toner and moisturiser

Hello rejuvenated skin with a fresh healthy glow.

*Over indulgence is not recommended for facial steams and should only be done maximum once a week. Never do a steam on irritated/sensitive skin, or with skin with broken capillaries as heat can further aggravate these conditions.
